Welcome new BaseHead user!


You are at this page cuz you probably just received your CmStick(s) in the mail.
Now the first thing to do is to download the latest version of our software from the Downloads page.

The licenses you ordered are already on the dongle, but you need to install the Codemeter Runtime to use it.


 

By purchasing a CmStick directly from us, you are also a Codemeter customer now so feel free to contact them  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

They are super helpful with codemeter setup if you get really stuck, but most of the information you will need will be on our website already.

Codemeter-Add License

CodeMeter Setup page:


This page describes the process of adding the BaseHead License to your Codemeter (CmStick) that you might already own
or just purchased and had shipped to you from www.codemeter.com
CmStick's come with SSL's Proconvert,  Sequoia and Propellerhead Record.
Any stick purchased direct from us should already be preloaded with your BH license.
If in the future you purchase more licenses you will do the same process skipping steps #3 thru #5.

Here we go....
1. After installing the CM runtime double click on the CM icon in your system tray.
If your screens look different, you have not updated to Codemeter Runtime Version 4.x yet.
Please do now! http://codemeter.com/us/service/downloads.html


2. Click on the "License Update Button" and click NEXT.
The below window will appear.

3. Then Choose 'Create License Request'


4. If you have already have a BaseHead Inc. Product on the stick then choose 'Extend exisiting license'
If you have never added a BH product then choose the bottom option and skip down to step 6.


5. Now Check the BaseHead Inc. Entry and hit Next and then Choose a Location to save the file.
Then Email that file to us and we will send you back the Update File..
Skip to step 8 now to for further instructions.

6. If you have never added a BH product to you CmStick before you'd choose the
'Add License of a new Producer' Option instead and hit NEXT.

7. Then enter in the firm code "100579"
Click Next and then Choose a Location to save the file.
Then Email that file to us and we will send you back the Update File..

8. Once you receive your Update file, just double click it to apply to your CmStick or drag and drop it to the Control Center.

Done and Done!
